Hardware Technologies organization is looking for an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to drive novel technology development into future Photonics IC platforms. In this critical role, the candidate will lead programs involving architecture definition, design, prototyping, integration, and validation of ground breaking technologies for Photonics IC and Laser integration. You will partner with engineers and managers from multi-functional teams to define, schedule, track, and help lead the work for these groundbreaking technologies.   • Partner with multi-functional teams including Software/Firmware and Hardware Engineering to deliver pioneering technologies.
  • Define the program plan/schedule and manage program execution.
  • Deliver communication/presentations and drive the decision-making process.
  • Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication.
  • Optimally and consistently communicate overall program status.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Improve the system: Look for patterns, offer best practices and implement change.
  • Limited domestic or international travel may be required.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering + 3 years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years Photonics Engineering experience.
  • 1+ year Program Management experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience and is data driven.
  • Self-motivated and hard-working with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to fit in well with a team, understand others' capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment, and inspire team members.
