About The Position

The College Aide will regularly participate in the creation of agency videography projects. Using agency equipment, they will collect video footage of events and agency projects. They will edit footage, integrating graphics and audio, to produce clear, compelling, and brand-consistent short films for internal and external use. The College Aide will assist with agency photography by taking photographs at press events, outreach events, and project sites as assigned. They will edit best-of photo selections for social media channels, NYC DOT's website, project managers and the agency photo archive.

Requirements

• Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
• Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience in filming and photography (DSLR).
• Experience with video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier).
• Experience with photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom).
• Excellence in communication, organization, and writing for digital environments.
• Ability to manage multitasking.
• Professional website and/or social media content creation and/or management.
• Experience creating animated video content and analytics.
