About The Position

The Photography Assistant at Equator Design, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Photographer by assisting in the creation of high-quality photographs for clients. This position involves organizing and setting up photoshoots, both in studios and on location, while ensuring that all client specifications are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for photography and a collaborative spirit, working closely with both the photography team and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Photography or related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1+ years of previous photography experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Basic analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and clients.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with photographic gear and equipment handling.
• Knowledge of lighting and set construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Photographer in creating high-quality photographs according to client specifications.
• Organize, set up, and wrap up photoshoots in studios and on location.
• Attend client meetings and interact with clients as necessary.
• Ensure high quality standards in all Photo Studio client deliverables.
• Coordinate with Merchandise Coordinators for the delivery and return of client merchandise to the Photo Shoot set.
• Maintain adequate inventory of film and photo equipment supplies.
• Support the team by collaborating across the organization to meet business needs.
• Focus on the efficient and timely completion of assigned Photo Studio activities.
