About The Position
The Art Program within the school of Art, Communications, Media and Music invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in Photography as part of the Art degree. Classes are conducted as 3-hour studios that meet once a week or 1 hour 25-minute studios that meet twice a week. Morning and daytime availability are highly desirable.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Art with a concentration in photography from a regionally accredited college, university or foreign equivalency; or Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts degree and experience in the subject area of drawing or painting.
Nice To Haves
- Ideal candidates will have professional experience working in drawing or painting.
- The college seeks educators who have experience working with students from widely diverse backgrounds.
- Prior college teaching experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.
