About The Position
WBBH, the NBC affiliate in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a Local News Photographer who will play a crucial role in capturing and delivering compelling visual stories to our audience. This position requires a dedicated professional who can effectively shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content that resonates with viewers. The ideal candidate will spend significant time in the field, utilizing their skills to document events and newsworthy occurrences, ensuring that the essence of each story is vividly portrayed. The photographer will be responsible for editing footage for newscasts and online platforms, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of modern broadcasting techniques. You will be expected to operate professional camera equipment, edit using Adobe Premiere, and manage the logistics of video feeds to the station.
