BASIS Ed Central Office is looking for a talented Photographer & Videographer to join our marketing and creative services team! This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Do you have an eye for storytelling and a passion for capturing impactful visuals? BASIS Schools, the top-ranked public school network in the U.S., is seeking a creative professional to produce compelling photo and video content that brings our brand to life. You'll support our marketing efforts by capturing authentic moments and creating dynamic multimedia for use across digital, print, and social platforms. This hybrid role is based in Scottsdale and is ideal for someone with 1+ years of experience who's ready to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A portfolio must be submitted for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Plan, capture, and edit high-quality video and photo content for marketing, events, social media, and internal communications
- Assist in pre-production planning, including storyboarding and shot lists
- Capture both staged and candid moments across our campuses and events
- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Retouch and color-correct photos using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and school leaders to ensure visual assets align with brand standards
- Manage media files and ensure proper organization and archiving
- Stay up to date with industry trends, camera technology, and editing technique
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in photography, videography, and post-production editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
- Strong visual storytelling skills with a sharp eye for composition and detail
- Basic knowledge of lighting, audio, and video production workflows
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple shoots or edits at once
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A portfolio showcasing your photography and videography work is required
- A passion for education and creativity, and a desire to make a positive impact
