About The Position

MarathonFoto is seeking freelance photographers for the Philadelphia Marathon weekend events on November 23rd and 24th. The role involves capturing dynamic images of runners either with their medals after finishing or action shots while they run. This position is event-based and offers the potential for future work at similar events.

Requirements

• Photography equipment is required.
• Excellent knowledge of photography equipment to take high-quality photographs.
• Ability to stand, move quickly, and hold the camera for the duration of the event.
• Capability to work quickly and efficiently while making good decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances during the event.
• Adherence to a schedule and reliable transportation to the event location.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Capture photos of runners with their medals after they cross the finish line.
• Take action photos of runners on the course at assigned locations.
• Follow clear guidelines for the type of photos to be taken during the event.
• Collect media at the end of the event to ensure proper transfer of images.

Benefits

• Pay of $30 per hour with the possibility of increase based on quality and quantity of photos taken.
