Shoot high-quality video for daily news coverage, special reports, and breaking news. Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment in both studio and field environments. Collaborate with reporters and producers to visually enhance storytelling. Edit news packages, VOs, and VOSOTs using Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Suite tools. Ensure all video content meets broadcast standards and is delivered on deadline. Export and deliver final cuts for air and digital publication. Work closely with reporters, producers, and assignment editors to execute editorial vision. Participate in planning meetings and contribute ideas for visual storytelling. Maintain organized video archives and manage footage for future use. Troubleshoot equipment and software issues as needed. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve production quality. Work assigned shifts. Shifts may change often. Fill in for absent co-workers if needed. Ability to work other hours or alternate schedules including when called to cover breaking news, as assigned by the Chief Photographer or News Director. Drive company vehicle to and from stories under various driving conditions. Obey all traffic laws and safety rules of the road while in a company vehicle. Report any problems or concerns with the vehicle and traffic incidents promptly to appropriate company representative. If assigned to take a news vehicle home, must follow take home car guidelines which included securing equipment and vehicle. Keep car clean and in good condition. Ensure equipment is in good working condition.
