About The Position
Acting under the general supervision of the Photogrammetry Unit Supervisor, this position supports the generation of Photogrammetric, LiDAR, and Imagery products. Activities include stereocompilation of engineering quality planimetric (ground features) maps and DTMs (elevation data) with a varying degree of complexity by independently interpreting and extracting data from aerial imagery and LiDAR point clouds. Additional activities include assisting with the development of analytical triangulation (AT) solutions linking aerial imagery to ground control; supporting the generation of digital orthoimagery and mosaics; and supporting the development of flight plans and ground control target layout designs for photogrammetry projects. This position operates softcopy workstations using a variety of exclusive Photogrammetry, LiDAR, and Imagery software programs. Experience using Photogrammetry stereo compilation software with aerial imagery and LiDAR data is required.
