About The Position

Slate Studios is a New York–based content production studio specializing in high-end photography and motion for luxury fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. We produce elevated campaigns and e-commerce content for leading global clients.
We are seeking a Photo Producer to join on a full-time contract basis to support ongoing productions.
As a Photo Producer at Slate Studios, you will coordinate and execute high-level fashion and beauty productions from pre-production through delivery. You will partner closely with creative, studio, and post teams to ensure smooth execution across logistics, budgets, and client expectations.
This role is ideal for a producer who is hands-on, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced studio environment.

Requirements

• Based in New York, NY
• Available full-time and on-site as needed for productions
• Prior experience producing or coordinating fashion/beauty photo shoots
• Strong understanding of studio workflows and production process
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management
• Proficiency with Google Workspace + project management tools
• Comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting timelines
• Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, solutions-driven
• Collaborative and client-friendly
• High standards and strong follow-through

Nice To Haves

• Budget ownership experience (tracking, invoicing, vendor coordination)
• Familiarity with luxury brand expectations and approvals

Responsibilities

• Own shoot timelines, call sheets, schedules, and crew coordination
• Translate creative briefs into clear production plans and deliverables
• Coordinate locations, equipment, permits, transportation, and catering
• Track expenses, invoices, and receipts; maintain budget discipline
• Support estimating and vendor negotiations as needed
• Flag scope changes early and help keep projects on track
• Serve as day-to-day production contact for clients during active projects
• Coordinate across photographers, stylists, HMU, talent, and post teams
• Ensure production details reflect client expectations and creative intent
• Run point on shoot days to keep production on schedule and on standard
• Troubleshoot quickly and calmly when variables change
• Coordinate retouching and delivery timelines with post partners
• Maintain organized file structure, transfers, and final delivery
