About The Position

The Manufacturing Process Engineer at Texas Instruments is responsible for driving continual improvement in manufacturing processes, particularly in the Photo process area. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance operational performance, ensure stability, and support manufacturing operations while addressing quality issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor fab environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous 300mm wafer fab startup experience.
  • Expertise in Photo process engineering (mark robustness optimization, layer transfers, advanced process development).
  • Experience developing and maintaining APC models in Photo.
  • Ability to work with aggressive timelines and drive for timely results.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead cross-module teams to identify and solve complex process/integration problems.
  • Track record of building strong and collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Drive efficient Photo process releases to meet startup and ramp schedules.
  • Own and deliver module operational performance, ensuring robust stability and manufacturing flexibility.
  • Support manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase yield and enable cost leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with Equipment Engineering peers and Operations counterparts.
  • Respond urgently to quality issues, ensuring timely containment to protect customers and drive to root cause.
  • Engage in active communication and relationship building with employees and peers.
