About The Position

Littelfuse is a leading, global manufacturer of electronic components serving more than 100,000 end customers across industrial, transportation, and electronics end markets. The role involves working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations. The position also includes assisting in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions, supporting engineering activities, and performing all scheduled preventative maintenance as assigned. The job responsibilities are divided as follows: 65% testing and troubleshooting, 15% assisting engineers with design and assembly, 15% determining methods to remedy malfunctions, and 5% compliance with established procedures to ensure safety and accuracy of results.

Requirements

  • Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • Five to seven years of experience.
  • Experience with maintaining Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication processing equipment.
  • Photolithography and/or Dry Etch experience preferred.
  • Wafer Fab Cleanroom experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Photolithography and/or Dry Etch processes.
  • Experience in a Wafer Fab Cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions from schematics and diagrams.
  • Assist engineers with the design, construction, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of components.
  • Determine methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
  • Comply with established procedures to ensure safety and accuracy of results.
  • Perform all scheduled preventative maintenance as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
