About The Position

Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of components. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Supports engineering activities. Performs all scheduled preventative maintenance as assigned. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. (65%) Assist engineers with the design, construction, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of components (15%) Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. (15%) Complies with all established procedures to ensure safety, equipment and accuracy of results. (5%) Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent relevant experience preferred
  • Five to seven years of experience
  • Experience with Maintaining Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication processing equipment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Photolithography and or Dry Etch experience preferred
  • Wafer Fab Cleanroom experience
