Adult Education|OTC: Part-Time Phlebotomy Technician Lab Aide
About The Position
Provide Phlebotomy Technician aide services for students under the Phlebotomy Technician teacher's direction within the district. Assist the Phlebotomy Technician Instructor by maintaining a positive, safe learning environment for all students enrolled in our Adult Education|OTC Phlebotomy Technician program. Help individual students achieve their greatest potential, learn to become independent, and ensure the safety of all students during the collection of blood specimens by established venipuncture and capillary techniques.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or possession of a General Education Development (GED) certi?cate.
- Phlebotomy National certi?cation from an accredited testing organization.
- Ability to operate various o?ce machines.
- A motivated self-starter with strong time-management abilities.
- Able to work quickly and independently, handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve.
- Professional tact, diplomacy, and presentation with sta?, students, and stakeholders.
- Record of excellent attendance.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and e?ective working relationships with administrations, sta?, students, associates, vendors, and community members.
Nice To Haves
- Reside or work in Medina County.
- Previous experience in education.
- Minimum ?ve (5) years of hands-on experience as a Phlebotomy Technician.
- Associate's degree or higher.
- Experience working within a budget.
