About The Position

Performs various routine duties associated with patient encounters; works effectively with other healthcare personnel to provide efficient and effective services; promotes efficient and high quality care and satisfaction; establishes and directs the daily workflow of the Phlebotomy team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical lab setting. Demonstrated upward progression in Phlebotomy or Clinical Lab setting is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Professional and friendly disposition; ability to work under sometimes stressful situations.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and motivational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to effectively train employees and students using different teaching/training styles and methods.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of approved Phlebotomy Training program is preferred.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
