About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Regional Phlebotomy Manager Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM Work Location: Pensacola, FL Job Responsibilities: Supervises the activities of 100 or more patient service technicians and oversees the operations of 20 or more patient service centers within an assigned region. Interrelates with laboratory director, department managers, and branch managers to ensure the optimal operation of the patient services department. Ensures that all policies and procedures are updated and implemented in each region in compliance with state and federal regulations and company mandates. Provides orientation, training, and performance evaluation of all patient services supervisors. Ensures regular and timely completion of periodic financial analyses for all patient service technician positions and patient service centers. Ensures regular and timely completion of periodic inspections of patient service centers and patient service technicians. Travel to additional sites as necessary to include Destin, Panama City and Jacksonville As a PSC Manager you will lead a team of Phlebotomy leaders and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers, leadership teams and designated client locations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position within the healthcare industry
  • 2 years of phlebotomy experience
  • Must be at least 21 years’ old and have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
