About The Position
Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Phlebotomy Lead to support daily phlebotomy operations while serving as a resource and role model for our phlebotomy team. This position combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, helping ensure high-quality specimen collection, strong customer service, and smooth day-to-day workflow. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection on patients of all ages Serve as a lead resource for phlebotomy staff, providing guidance and support Assist with daily staffing, workflow coordination, and task prioritization Support onboarding and training of new phlebotomy team members Promote adherence to laboratory policies, procedures, and safety standards Assist with troubleshooting collection issues and resolving patient or staff concerns Collaborate closely with lab leadership and other clinical departments Maintain a positive, patient-focused, and team-oriented work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR
Nice To Haves
- Previous Phlebotomy experience preferred, but can train the right candidate.
- Phlebotomy certification a plus.
