About The Position

Aiken Technical College is recruiting Phlebotomy Adjunct Instructors. The role involves providing instruction that includes both hands-on and theoretical components, managing the classroom, and performing administrative tasks such as developing reports, syllabi, and lesson plans. Instructors will be responsible for preparing and maintaining current course syllabi for the courses they teach, ensuring that the course is delivered in accordance with the established syllabi, and recommending adequate instructional materials and laboratory facilities/equipment for the assigned course. Additionally, the role includes supervising students during their learning process.

Requirements

• Associate's degree
• Two (2) years of experience in the discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught.
• Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.
• Supervision of students.
