About The Position
The position is for a full-time phlebotomist at Trinity Health Brighton, working day shifts for 40 hours a week. The role involves performing phlebotomy, specimen receipt, processing, specimen distribution, computer order entry, and other pre-analytical tasks as required. The phlebotomist will track specimens through appropriate computer functions to ensure accurate and timely routing. Responsibilities also include assuring complete and accurate patient samples, demographics, and diagnosis codes are submitted to the laboratory for testing.
