About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Collects, registers, and processes patient laboratory specimens using various collection techniques.
  • Follows rigorous patient identification protocols for all ages and complexity of patients.
  • May perform EKGs as part of the duties.
  • Services patients at assigned locations including Patient Service Centers, Clinics, and Nursing Homes, and performs Home Draws.
  • Exercises excellent judgment, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Maintains supplies and places orders following PAR level guidelines.
  • Maintains cleanliness and neatness of the site, monitors and maintains equipment, and performs troubleshooting as needed.
  • Participates in Quality Assurance monitors and initiatives, including data collection and statistics.
