About The Position
Actalent is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to process and finalize prior authorization (PA) requests within clients' turnaround time (TAT) and Performance Guarantees (PGs) utilizing guidelines. The role involves entering prior authorizations into the system, checking formulary alternatives, and documenting all related information regarding PA approvals or non-approvals. The technician will respond to incoming requests, partner with clinical pharmacists, and ensure adherence to administrative processing standards. The position requires collaboration with various teams to manage prior authorization inquiries and maintain confidentiality of member information.
