Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to deliver the best possible medical care in LRH’s patient-focused setting. SUMMARY: Staff member of the laboratory department who performs electrocardiograms and collects specimens from inpatients, outpatients, nursing homes, and emergency patients. Position involves phlebotomy/blood drawing for patient treatment; prior experience in phlebotomy is required. Performs clerical duties of completing and ordering laboratory requests, answers the phone, schedules patients, checking for medical necessity, and compiles statistical data. Performs waived status laboratory testing as directed by Director of Laboratory.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • experience in phlebotomy required.

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience in hospital or medical setting preferred
