About The Position
Committed to Care and Caring Discover Where Amazing Works Phlebotomist – Laboratory - Per Diem - Rotating Shifts Committed to care, our Phlebotomists can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team of Phlebotomists in a fast-paced hospital laboratory drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures. This is a Per Diem position working on-demand as needed including weekends and holidays (variable shifts). Location is our Westchester campus (formerly Lawrence Hospital) in Bronxville NY opposite the Metro North Station.
Requirements
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good oral communications
- Basic PC and LIS skills
- Two (2) years prior hospital or SNF experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Experience and expertise in venipuncture technique preferred
