JOB SUMMARY Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory. Fills in as needed in the department. Functions as one of the department's primary contacts with patients. Assists with clerical duties.
Responsibilities
- Performs phlebotomies.
- Performs laboratory Information System functions.
- Maintains a clean work area and proper stock on supplies.
- Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate polices and procedures.
- Performs clerical duties.
