The company is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team at a Medical Office in Englewood, CO. This role is crucial for improving health and lives by providing vital information that helps clients and patients understand their health. The Phlebotomist will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and serve as a key representative of the company. Phlebotomists may also be eligible for participation in a Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program, which pays a bonus based on performance metrics.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

Nice To Haves

  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
  • 6 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed
