About The Position

We are currently hiring for a PRN Phlebotomist within the Clinical Laboratory department here at Aspen Valley Health. Work Shift: Rotating - 10 Hours Compensation Range: $27.35 - $43.76 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position. Assists the laboratory department by performing phlebotomies and standard laboratory specimen processing procedures following established policies and procedures. Also performs administrative tasks to support the effective delivery of care. As a PRN employee, you will be eligible to purchase discounted bus passes for transportation to and from work, 457B, and also participate in a number of AVH hosted programs. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a lab assistant/phlebotomist preferred.
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred.
  • Certified Medical Lab Assistant preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
