Phlebotomist – Clinical Labs
About The Position
Work Schedule : 60% FTE, day shift. 24 hours per week. Monday – Friday 4:30AM – 9:00AM. Every third weekend 4:30AM – 11:00AM. Rotating weekends and on-call shifts. You may be eligible for up to a $1,500 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to: Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing. Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Nice To Haves
- Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation Preferred
- 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare Preferred
- Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent Preferred
