The Phlebotomist primarily provides phlebotomy and other lab sample collection, along with other laboratory support functions, within the Clinical Laboratory department of a Medical Center focused on the care of infants, children, and adolescents. This role also involves acting as a patient advocate, providing education, information, and emotional support to patients and their families regarding tests and specimen acquisition, and collaborating with team members to achieve departmental goals while maintaining professional development and compliance with organizational standards.
