What You’ll Do: As a Phlebotomist with Versiti, you’ll be the friendly face and skilled professional donors count on. You’ll: Register donors and walk them through the donation process Conduct medical interviews to ensure donor eligibility Perform venipunctures and collect blood with care and precision Prioritize safety—for both donors and recipients Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction This is more than just drawing blood—it’s about building trust, offering comfort, and making a direct impact on someone’s health journey. What You Can Expect: Open availability is required between 4:00 AM and 10:00 PM , including weekends You’ll be scheduled for 8 to 10-hour shifts , and schedules are provided 2–3 weeks in advance Please note that schedules may change depending on operational needs Paid training is included: 4 weeks in a classroom setting followed by 4 weeks of hands-on, alternating field training Attendance during the full 8-week training period is required At Versiti, you’ll find purpose, connection, and a chance to grow within a mission-driven organization. Position Summary Under direct supervision by department leadership, performs phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products. Interacts with donors and coordinators, providing a high level of customer service to deliver an excellent donation experience. Takes pride in and is committed to delivering high quality services. Works cooperatively and is a supportive member of the team/group. Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives. Incumbent may be responsible for driving, or providing effective interactions with Spanish speaking donors depending on qualifications and business need.
