About The Position
Per diem position to support the day/night workloads. SUMMARY Collects blood samples and other specimens from both inpatients and outpatients in a professional and timely manner, consistent with accepted standards of quality patient care. Also performs clerical, receptionist, and customer service duties.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent, required.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider card.
- Stroke education is required.
- Refer to Administrative Policy A-148 for specific education requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Training in phlebotomy or medical assistant course preferred.
- Previous experience in phlebotomy and direct patient care preferred.
