About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team at Vandalia Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Illinois.
The pay rate is $23/hr.
The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.
Hours are M-F 4 a.m. - 9 a.m; PT; 24 hours

Requirements

• Completed a certified phlebotomy training program
• Be a high school graduate or hold a GED
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist preferred
• Experience working in corrections/behavioral health preferred
