Requirements

  • Certified Phlebotomist, NYS (required)
  • Comfortable working independently in a long term care setting
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and person-focused
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior clinical or healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy, professionalism, and care
  • Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and quality standards
  • Provide a calm, respectful experience for people of all backgrounds and abilities 
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements
