Requirements
- Certified Phlebotomist, NYS (required)
- Comfortable working independently in a long term care setting
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and person-focused
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical or healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy, professionalism, and care
- Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
- Follow all infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Provide a calm, respectful experience for people of all backgrounds and abilities
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements
