Position Overview: As a Phlebotomist, you will combine technical expertise with patient care to deliver accurate, timely lab results. You will perform blood draws, process specimens, and work alongside a collaborative healthcare team—all while creating a safe, supportive experience for patients.

Requirements

Active Phlebotomy Certification required
Current CPR certification
At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures for patients of all ages
Log specimens into the laboratory information system, prepare specimens for testing, and transport specimens to reference lab as needed
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of phlebotomy procedures in the electronic health record (EHR)
Answer phones, take messages, and provide routine laboratory-related information to patients and staff
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
