About The Position

Phlebotomist Euola, is seeking Phlebotomists to join our team at the prestigious Bedford VA Medical Center in Bedford, Massachusetts. Duties and responsibilities Perform skilled venipuncture procedures on diverse patient populations Collect blood samples using various techniques (straight needle, butterfly, etc.) Build rapport with veteran patients to ensure comfortable experiences Practice thorough patient identification using VA's two-identifier system Respond professionally to patient concerns and questions Handle special collection requirements for specific tests Assist patients with mobility challenges Process and prepare specimens for testing or transport Manage specimen accessioning and documentation Maintain proper storage conditions for specimens Ensure accurate labeling and tracking of all samples Follow strict quality control procedures Monitor and maintain supply inventory

Requirements

• Current Phlebotomy Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• 3+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent patient care abilities
