About The Position

Phlebotomist - Full Time AM shift hours with weekend and holiday rotation required. SUMMARY Collects blood samples and other specimens from both inpatients and outpatients in a professional and timely manner, consistent with accepted standards of quality patient care. Also performs clerical, receptionist, and customer service duties.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent, required.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider card.
• Stroke education is required.
• Refer to Administrative Policy A-148 for specific education requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Training in phlebotomy or medical assistant course preferred.
• Previous experience in phlebotomy and direct patient care preferred.
