Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy diploma program.
• One year of phlebotomist experience.
• Phlebotomy Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, arterial, and capillary punctures on patients.
• Conduct designated laboratory testing.
• Assist in donor care before, during, and after donation.
• Instruct patients on urine collection procedures and accurately label specimens.
• Clean/Sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area.
• Inventory supplies and place orders when necessary.
• Enter patient data timely and efficient.
• Follow organizational, departmental, and governmental policies and procedures.
