About The Position

Under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, collects blood specimens for
the laboratory from appropriate patients according to the Standard Operating
Procedure Manual (SOPM) and accepted practices.

Requirements

• High School graduate
• Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Computer literacy

Nice To Haves

• Training in phlebotomy
• Certified phlebotomist
• Previous phlebotomy experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record
