About The Position
Phlebotomist - Full time needed for laboratory. Applicants must have experience with: Collects patient blood and/or urine specimens using established procedures Properly prepares collected specimens for testing and analysis, ensuring specimen integrity Input data and verify urine and blood test requisitions Identifies patients before any specimens are obtained Labels and documents specimens to prepare for shipment when necessary Obtain all necessary signatures as needed Inputting patient information accurately into the computer system
Requirements
- Phlebotomist Certification
- Minimum of two years medical/lab front office experience
- Ability to understand, interpret forms to patients if needed
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Current CPR/BLS
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
