About The Position

Celebrating 29 Years in Southwest Florida and we are still growing! Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres. This position is at our Camlet Pediatrics office in Fort Myers. Our Phlebotomists: Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients Collect specimens in the correct container according to COLA requirements Ensure the correct recording and labeling of all specimens collected Clean, maintain, and stock phlebotomy area, draw stations, and patient restrooms Provide coverage at our satellite practice laboratories on an as-needed basis Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations Must have reliable transportation Work schedule is Monday - Friday with a Saturday rotation Pediatrics experience highly preferred Reliability is critical To be Successful – You Need: Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment to perform routine tests One year of phlebotomy experience required CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire What PPC Offers: 29 years of growing with and supporting our communities Award-winning physicians Ability to advance within our organization Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Uniform Allowance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee appreciation week and events Want to learn more about Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida? Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately

• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment to perform routine tests
• One year of phlebotomy experience required
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
