About The Position
Join a patient-focused donor center as a Phlebotomist. You’ll perform safe, high-quality venipuncture, monitor donors and equipment, document accurately, and protect confidentiality throughout the donation process.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Superior customer service and communication skills
- MediClear Certification (or equivalent HIPAA credential) — required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (days/evenings/weekends/holidays as needed)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture; monitor donors for reactions and intervene per protocol
- Set up, operate, disconnect, and sanitize plasmapheresis/collection equipment
- Support donor eligibility/suitability workflows and complete required documentation
- Maintain PHI security and HIPAA compliance; follow SOPs, infection control, and PPE use
- Conduct in-process quality checks; maintain accurate logs, lot/shift records, and labeling
- Communicate clearly with donors and teammates; escalate issues promptly
