About The Position

Join a patient -first hospital laboratory team as a Phlebotomist. You’ll perform high -quality specimen collections (venipuncture and capillary) and provide clear collection instructions while maintaining strict privacy and safety standards.

Requirements

• MediClear or equivalent HIPAA certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• National phlebotomy certification from one of the following (strongly preferred):
• NHA – CPT
• ASCP – PBT
• AMT – RPT
• NCCT – NCPT
• ACA – CPT
• Strong communication and customer service skills; meticulous attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Hospital or high -volume outpatient experience
• EMR/LIS proficiency and knowledge of quality/safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws for patients of all ages
• Provide patient instructions for urine and culture collections
• Positively identify patients; label and handle specimens to SOP/CLIA standards
• Prioritize and route specimens; support timely transport to the lab
• Document accurately in the LIS/EMR; uphold HIPAA at all times
• Deliver compassionate, efficient service in a fast -paced clinical setting
