About The Position
The Phlebotomist is responsible for specimen collection on patients of all ages. Phlebotomists effectively interact with patients, hospital employees, managers, and other health team members while maintaining established professional standards. They participate in performance improvement activities. Phlebotomists perform other related laboratory duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent required.
- BLS required within 30 days of hire.
- Please indicate whether you have ever been convicted of a crime, including any misdemeanors and/or DUI/DWI. (Criminal conviction(s) will not automatically exclude you from consideration for employment).
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
- At least 6 months phlebotomist experience preferred.
