Royalty Hospitality Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our clients team. This role is crucial within the hospital and health care industry, as it involves collecting blood samples for various tests, conducting health screenings, and ensuring patient comfort during the procedure. Temporary Certified Phlebotomy Technician ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 4 months with the possibility of an extension SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, This position may require you provide staffing coverage at any other health facility, as needed. Valid clean and clear Driver’s license required.
Requirements
- EXPERIENCE: Preferred 1-2 years medical laboratory experience as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) and Proficient in medical terminology.
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CERTIFICATIONS: Phlebotomy Certification – Current California State Phlebotomy Licensure and Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate.
- Valid clean and clear Drivers License required.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and label samples for laboratory testing
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during blood collection
- Maintain phlebotomy equipment and ensure cleanliness
- Document and record patient information and procedures accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients about the blood draw process
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance protocols within the healthcare setting
Benefits
- $27.93-$34.00/hr depending on experience.
