As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood, performing venipuncture, and collecting and processing specimens. Your attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols will be essential in ensuring accurate and timely results. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Hourly Range: $20.00 - $23.00, based on years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Phlebotomy certificate required
  • Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on outpatients and in-office patients of all ages
  • Log specimens into the laboratory information system, prepare specimens for testing, and transport specimens to reference lab as needed
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of phlebotomy procedures in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Answer phones, take messages, and provide routine laboratory-related information to patients and staff
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
