About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in Morristown, TN. The role involves performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other related tasks. The Phlebotomist will also handle data entry of patient information, process billing, collect payments, and prepare specimens for testing. Providing superior customer service and maintaining patient/specimen logs are key aspects. Administrative and clerical duties are also required, along with potential travel to additional sites. Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
