About The Position

The company is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in Woodstock, GA. This role involves working in either a Patient Service Center or a Client office, providing exceptional customer service, and performing skilled specimen collections. The Phlebotomist will be a key representative of the company and will have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Eligible Phlebotomists may also participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which offers a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
  • 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills: both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform skilled specimen collections
