About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in Bergen County, NJ. This is a casual/PRN position with varying start and end times, requiring Saturday availability. The role involves performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting various specimens (drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests), accurate and timely data entry of patient information, processing billing, collecting payments, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining patient and specimen information logs, and providing superior customer service. Administrative and clerical duties are also necessary, along with the ability to travel to additional sites when needed. Phlebotomists will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• 1.5 years or more of phlebotomy experience
