Valley Medical Group is looking for a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team and work in our Easthampton Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity! Position: Phlebotomist Location: Easthampton Hours: 40 hours, Monday-Friday generally between 6:30am - 3:30pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview. As a Phlebotomist, the candidate must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment. Requirements

Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
Previous customer service or medical office experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

CPT preferred, but not required
EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus

Responsibilities

Collecting samples from patients of all ages
Processing and accessions of clinical specimens
Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
