Event Details Date: Tuesday January 20th Time: 12:00 PM - 3:00 pm Location: 1036 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 Upon Arrival: Candidates are welcome to park in the visitor lot and enter through the main door, check in at the front desk. Candidates must register for the event. A registration link will be sent to you after application has been submitted. What does Versiti have to offer? (start the first month following your start day) Shift differentials for evenings/weekends Evenings (6:00 PM-12:00 AM) Morning (12:00AM-6:00 PM) Weekends Skill based % increases offered after training Additional Bilingual (Spanish) increase available after passing certification exam. Schedule: Schedules are posted 2-3 weeks in advance. Must have availability from 4:00am-10:00pm, including weekends and holidays. Hours are determined by blood drive schedule so hours do vary day to day Locations vary day to day. 5 days on 2 days off , Available Days Monday-Friday , Tuesday -Thursday, Sunday-Thursday. days may change due to business needs not all slots may be available at time of hire. Position Summary As a Phlebotomist on the blood drive team you will: Prepares collection site, performs set up of equipment, including technology systems With a valid driver's license, may operate mobile drive vehichles. Following all DOT guidelines, safely transports staff, supplies and equipment and arrives at site on time. Performs accurate medical interviews to determine donor eligibility, performs venipunctures/blood draws, ensures donor safety, and rebooks donors for future appointments Observes and responds to donor questions, concerns, and reactions appropriately Other duties as assigned The list of responsibilities above is not meant to be all inclusive, but rather an overview of daily activities.
