About The Position
Works closely with all laboratory personnel to facilitate the performance of laboratory tests as ordered by the physician Maintains a pleasant and friendly attitude with patients and tries to answer their questions to the best of their ability Interacts with nursing personnel in the completion of laboratory requisitions and the charting Assists patients and physicians in acquiring correct information about preparation for testing Schedules patients for testing The above statements are intended to describe the functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job. Requirements
- Ability to read well enough to follow instructions, write legibly, have good communication skills and a moderate degree of manual dexterity
- Must be a registered CPT Phlebotomist or equivalent
- BLS certification required
